My 2002 Honda Accord started acting very strangely, so I took it to Christian at AAMCO to check out. His check out was free. My transmission was having problems and Christian explained very clearly what was wrong and what was needed to fix the transmission. Just to be sure, I checked his price against the Honda dealer, and his price saved me $1000 compared to the dealer. I was out in 3 days and the vehicle runs great. Thanks Christian!
Our 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix recently expirienced new transmission problems almost a full year after the warranty on the original repair had expired. The AAMCO Santa Rosa shop took the car in and had us back on the road with a great attitude and no questions asked, right in the middle of the holidays. Needless to say our family felt quite blessed by their sense good will. It was the Christian thing to do, and we Christians greatly appreciated their good intentions.
These guys here are amazing! I have a 2002 Tahoe and I was shopping at the mall for Christmas gifts with my children. It was a nasty day and pouring rain. After I put all the gifts and my children into the car it wouldn't move. I had just had it serviced at another shop that was recommended to me as being a "reputable" per reviews read. I didn't know what to do, I asked a guy walking by if he could help me, he looked at it then told me to call AAMCO as they have always been good to him. I called AAMCO and the guy on the phone offered to tow it in for us for free. As soon as we got to Aamco I told him about just having it serviced and the other shop said everything looked ok, he called an employee over and asked him to check the linkage. Within minutes the (now soaking wet) employee returned and said my car is all fixed. The manager then went out and drove the vehicle, he came back put it inside and up in the air, checked everything out then pulled it out. He came up to me and said everything looks good and he felt comfortable it wouldn't happen again. I couldn't believe it, but what was even more amazing was they didn't charge me a penny. I will always trust and bring my vehicles to AAMCO on Cleveland Ave.
I love this place! Cheapest deals and very legitimate work. The people who work there wont try and sell you crap you don't need and they are very helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this place for your car work.
Good job Its nice to have guys like this that can take a transmission apart, replace the worn or damaged parts, and then re-assemble it in proper working order. Most shops want to replace the whole transmission simply because it has a worn or damaged part. thanks guys you saved me thousands.
